What is DEF 2021?

Digital Examinations Forum (DEF) is an online event that took place on 15/16/17 June and 22/23/24 June 2021. The forum was hosted by the University of Bath’s School of Management and powered by Inspera. It brought together participants from universities in UK and around the world, with diverse backgrounds and a wide range of e-assessment experience.

Digital Examinations Forum aims to:

  • Examine the student experience at the core of assessment practices.
  • Inspire leaders in Higher Education to consider the positive impact of digital exams on assessment design and development.
  • Discuss the best practices in examinations delivery, IT infrastructure, coordination and stakeholder engagement.
