Data Privacy By Design & By Default

From the get-go, Inspera adopted a Privacy by design scheme for Inspera Assessment, to de-identify personal data. In this way, it is impossible to connect personal data to an identifiable learner without the use of additional information stored outside of our assessment platform.

We recommend all our customers to follow Inspera Assessment's default privacy by design behaviour to minimise personal data processing.

Institutions with third-party authentication and/or authorisation services can pseudonymise personal data for learners. In this situation, the third party service provides a token for the learner, which is used in Inspera Assessment to identify the learner, instead of name, email, or other personal information. If personal information needs to be displayed during invigilation for Id-check etc, name or social security number is put on the session when the learner logs in.
