Oslo, Norway
Inspera, a leading global provider of digital assessment solutions is proud to announce its recent success in securing two landmark procurement awards for the Inspera Originality solution: the SIKT plagiarism control system, and the SUNET digital text matching service.
These wins reaffirm Inspera’s commitment to upholding the highest levels of academic integrity and driving innovation in digital education across the Nordic region and beyond.
The SIKT award, granted in January by Norway’s national agency for shared services in education and research recognised the robust functionality of Inspera Originality, usability, and sector-specific adaptability, including advanced features and deep integration with Norwegian education platforms.
Simultaneously, Inspera Originality has been selected by SUNET – Swedish University Computer Network, for its national text matching procurement. Inspera Originality fulfilled all of the mandatory requirements including stringent standards related to accessibility, handling of personal data, technical security, and identification and authentication protocols.
Anthony Brockley, Chief Revenue Officer of Inspera, commented:
“Winning both the SIKT and SUNET procurements is a significant milestone in the growth of our Inspera Originality business. Alongside the APUC win in the UK at the end of 2024 it reflects our continued investment in delivering capabilities that empower institutions to maintain academic integrity while enriching the assessment experience for educators and learners alike. We are honoured by the trust placed in us by the Norwegian and Swedish higher education communities and look forward to supporting their evolving needs.”
These achievements follow Inspera’s broader strategy to support institutions with secure, scalable, end-to-end digital assessment solutions – from planning and authoring to delivery, grading, feedback, and academic integrity assurance – built on a foundation of transparency, partnership, accessibility & inclusivity, and pedagogical best practice.
Inspera Originality combines advanced similarity detection algorithms capabilities to give you deep insight into student submissions so that you can make the right decision as to whether it’s their own work or contains plagiarised material. Available in over 30 languages to conduct single or multiple language similarity detection, its easy-to-use, colour-coded report helps you differentiate between potential categories of similarity: exact match, context similarity, and multiple language similarity, as well as advanced text manipulation and metadata analysis. Cohort analysis allows educators to identify patterns and anomalies to assess originality. All within a privacy by design ethos that allows you to decide whether to keep your submissions private to your institution or share with institutions of your choice.
