How to Create Better Exams

Mary is an Associate Professor of Educational Assessment at UCL Institute of Education in London. She leads an MA Assessment programme and most of her research is focused on assessment, rights-based education and philosophy of assessment. Mary is currently completing a book looking at public confidence in assessment and starting a new research project examining the user-experience of AI technologies for language testing. Mary worked in policy departments and an awarding body before moving into academia where she has been for the past 16 years.

Magnus is a Project Manager and Advisor in EdTech at the University of Bergen. He aims to develop, implement and utilize EdTech at UiB. A long term goal is to bridge the gap between digital tools and good pedagogical practice, acting as an innovator together with teachers, students, pedagogues, administration and technical staff.

Henriette is Product Manager for Authoring and Test taking at Inspera, responsible for driving product development within these areas. Henriette joined Inspera in early 2015, having worked closely with our customers as a customer success manager and project manager, before starting as product manager last year. Prior to joining the Inspera team, Henriette developed her passion for EdTech, working for a London-based Learning Solutions Company.
